Chore Buddies is a family app for tracking chores, allowance, and savings goals — with virtual money only. We collect as little as possible, never sell your data, and don't run third-party tracking or ads.

• Account info: a parent's email and a password (stored hashed).
• Family data you enter: kids' first names or nicknames, chores, allowance amounts, and savings goals.
• Basic app data: crash and diagnostic info to keep the app stable.

That's it. No real bank or payment information is ever collected — there is no real money in the app.

Your data is stored securely and encrypted in transit. Account passwords are hashed. We use trusted infrastructure providers and limit access to the small team that maintains the app.

Chore Buddies is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian for use with their own children. Children don't create accounts themselves. Parents control what information is entered — we recommend using first names or fun nicknames rather than full names.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We only share information with the service providers we need to run the app (for example, secure hosting), and only what they need to do their job.

You can edit or delete your family's data anytime in the app. To delete your account entirely, use the in-app "Delete account" option or email us at hello@chorebuddies.app.

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and let you know in the app for meaningful changes.
